Welcome to the 2008/2009 School Year! And welcome to Region 8.

Our region, Santa Clara County, represents 34 school districts including the County Office of Education. We are proud to have more than 700 administrators as members in our county, and our goal is to provide professional development, networking, social, and support services to you.

Leadership Matters as we strive to be the most influential, student-focused, respected, service-oriented educational organization in existence. Each one of us has a role in this vast organization, our power lives in our numbers, and our purpose is achieved when we focus on the strengths of one another as administrators to focus on our students. We need to advocate for the funding and support for our students, staff, and colleagues.

In Region 8, we value the contributions of all of our members. ACSA is about honoring the work we do, and we are all "the essential piece" that continues to enable our public school system to thrive.
